  1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Custom Apron.

In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Custom Apron. “You” and “your” refer to the customer, website visitor, account holder, or person placing an order through our website.

These Terms apply together with our:

  • Refund Policy
  • Shipping Policy
  • Privacy Policy
  • Cookie Policy, where published
  • Any product-specific terms shown before checkout
  1. Use Of This Website

You may use this website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes.

You must not use the website in a way that:

  • Breaks any applicable law
  • Damages, disrupts, or overloads the website
  • Attempts to access accounts, systems, or data without permission
  • Copies website content for commercial resale without written permission
  • Uploads viruses, malware, harmful files, or harmful code
  • Uses false details, misleading information, or another person’s identity
  • Interferes with website security, payment processing, or checkout systems

We may restrict access to the website if we believe these Terms have been breached.

  1. Age And Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using the website with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You also confirm that the information supplied during checkout is accurate and complete.

  1. Accounts

Some website features may require an account.

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details secure
  • Keeping your contact and delivery information up to date
  • All activity carried out through your account
  • Telling us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission

We may suspend or close an account if it is misused, contains false information, or is linked to fraudulent activity.

  1. Products And Product Descriptions

We aim to present product details, colours, sizes, materials, prices, and images accurately.

Some variation may occur because:

  • Screen colours can display differently
  • Leather, fabric, and embroidery finishes may vary slightly
  • Handmade or custom items may have small natural differences
  • Product photography may show styling items that are not included

Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

  1. Custom, Personalised And Made-To-Order Products

Custom Apron sells products that may be made, printed, embroidered, engraved, or finished based on customer instructions.

Custom orders may include:

  • Names
  • Logos
  • Images
  • Business branding
  • Measurements
  • Colour selections
  • Embroidery details
  • Printed artwork
  • Design notes
  • Product modifications

You are responsible for checking all custom order details before submitting the order. This includes spelling, names, logo files, colour choices, sizing, placement instructions, and any design approval sent to you.

Custom-made and personalised goods may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights, but this does not remove your rights if the item is faulty, incorrect, or not as described. UK online selling rules require cancellation rights for many distance sales, but custom-made and personalised goods are treated differently under those rules.

  1. Customer Artwork, Logos And Files

If you upload or send artwork, logos, names, images, or brand material, you confirm that:

  • You own the material, or have permission to use it
  • The material does not infringe another person’s rights
  • The material is not unlawful, offensive, abusive, misleading, or harmful
  • The material can be used by Custom Apron to complete your order

We may refuse to print, embroider, engrave, or use any artwork that we consider unlawful, offensive, infringing, or unsuitable for production.

You permit Custom Apron to use supplied files only for order production, customer support, proofing, fulfilment, and record keeping linked to your order.

  1. Orders And Acceptance

After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not always mean the order has been accepted.

We may refuse, cancel, or contact you regarding an order if:

  • Product details are incorrect
  • Pricing has been listed incorrectly
  • Stock is unavailable
  • Payment fails or is flagged for review
  • Delivery details are incomplete
  • The order appears fraudulent
  • Custom instructions cannot be completed
  • The order contains artwork or wording we cannot produce

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.

  1. Prices And Payment

Prices are shown on the website at the time of purchase.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted unless there has been an obvious pricing error.

Payment must be completed through the payment methods shown at checkout. We do not store full card details on our website. Payment processing may be handled by secure third-party payment providers.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information. If payment is declined, the order may not be processed.

  1. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are shown in our Shipping Policy or at checkout.

Standard non-custom orders are usually delivered within the estimated period shown at checkout. Custom, printed, embroidered, logo, name, or made-to-order products may require additional production time.

Under UK online selling rules, goods should be delivered within 30 days unless a different delivery period has been agreed with the customer.

We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by incorrect addresses, courier disruption, customs delays, remote-area delays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a delay occurs, we will help review the matter and provide updates where possible.

  1. Cancellations, Returns And Refunds

Cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

For many non-custom online orders, UK customers have a right to cancel within 14 days from delivery. Customers then usually have another 14 days to return the goods after giving cancellation notice.

Custom-made, printed, embroidered, engraved, personalised, or made-to-measure products usually cannot be returned for change of mind unless they are faulty, incorrect, or not as described.

For faulty goods, UK law requires sellers to provide the correct remedy where goods are faulty, not as described, or do not do what they are meant to do.

  1. Faulty, Damaged Or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Your order number
  • A short explanation of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of packaging, where delivery damage is involved

If the issue is confirmed, we may offer a repair, replacement, exchange, price reduction, or refund, depending on the issue, the product, and your legal rights.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

  1. Website Accuracy

We try to keep website information accurate and up to date.

Occasionally, product descriptions, prices, images, stock levels, delivery estimates, offers, or other website content may contain errors. We may correct errors, update information, cancel affected orders, or contact you for instructions.

If a clear pricing error has been made, we are not required to supply the product at the incorrect price.

  1. Promotions, Discounts And Offers

Promotional codes, discounts, and offers may be subject to extra terms.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Offers cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Offers may have expiry dates
  • One discount may apply per order
  • Offers may exclude custom orders or sale items
  • We may withdraw or change promotions at any time before an order is placed

If a promotion is used incorrectly, we may cancel the order or request payment of the correct amount.

  1. Intellectual Property

All website content belongs to Custom Apron or its licensors, unless stated otherwise.

This includes:

  • Text
  • Product images
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Layouts
  • Product designs
  • Website content
  • Brand materials

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, publish, distribute, or use our website content for commercial purposes without written permission.

  1. Reviews, Feedback And Customer Submissions

You may send reviews, feedback, photos, comments, or suggestions.

By sending content to us, you confirm that:

  • The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You have the right to send it
  • It does not infringe another person’s rights
  • It does not contain unlawful, abusive, harmful, or misleading material

We may use customer reviews or feedback for website, service, or product improvement. We will not use personal photos, names, or identifiable customer content in marketing without permission where required.

  1. Third-Party Links And Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, delivery companies, review platforms, or social media pages.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, policies, services, delays, errors, or security. Please read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service you use.

  1. Privacy And Personal Data

Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, you acknowledge that we may process personal information for order handling, payment, delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, marketing preferences, and legal record keeping.

Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.

  1. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The website may be unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Technical faults
  • Security issues
  • Hosting disruption
  • Events outside our reasonable control

We are not liable for loss caused by temporary website unavailability, unless the law says otherwise.

  1. Limitation Of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights
  • Any matter that cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, Custom Apron is not responsible for indirect losses, business interruption, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

For business customers, our total liability linked to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

CMA guidance states that consumer contract terms should be fair and clear, and unfair terms can create legal risk for businesses.

  1. Business Customers

If you buy from us for business purposes, you confirm that you have authority to place the order on behalf of that business.

Business customers are responsible for checking product suitability, custom order details, branding files, tax records, and delivery details before placing an order.

Consumer cancellation rights may not apply to business purchases in the same way they apply to consumer purchases.

  1. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include:

  • Courier disruption
  • Supplier delays
  • Customs delays
  • Severe weather
  • Power cuts
  • Cyber incidents
  • Strikes or labour disruption
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural disasters
  • Material shortages

If such an event affects your order, we will contact you where practical and try to reduce the impact.

  1. Suspension Or Termination

We may suspend or end access to the website if you breach these Terms, misuse the website, submit false information, attempt fraud, or act in a way that may harm Custom Apron, other customers, or website security.

Any rights or duties that should continue after termination will remain in effect.

  1. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be posted on this page. Changes will apply from the date they are published, unless stated otherwise.

Orders already accepted will normally be governed by the Terms in place when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law.

  1. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

  1. No Waiver

If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we have given up that right.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer laws in another UK nation apply to you.

If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of the UK nation where you live. If you are a business customer, disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales unless agreed otherwise in writing.
